This is a limited re-release of eight's very first self-produced 1999 demo album ‘Build’. Many of the tracks were recorded live at The Meteor in Hamilton, NZ.

The title track Build really encapsulates the feel and intention of the band eight. A studio version was later recorded with producer Malcolm Welsford, and released as part of the Unfinished CD in 2004.
Build remains a big part of Bruce and Paul’s shared musical history, is a captivating live track, and often still finds its way into a Midwave Breaks show.
